Cash App reports about 59 million active wallet users, while Square’s platform hosts roughly 4 million sellers. Since launching bitcoin sales on Cash App in January 2018, Block says about 24 million consumers have purchased the cryptocurrency through the app. The October 2025 update lets Square merchants accept bitcoin payments and optionally convert a portion of card sales into bitcoin.
