Argos expands marketplace to 130,000 products in biggest range push

Argos plans to offer more than 130,000 products from vetted third‑party retailers and brands on its Trusted Sellers marketplace by the end of 2026. The platform, which was trialled with 40 partners in July, already offers more than 70,000 products. The expansion marks the biggest increase in Argos’s product range in its history.

Initially focused on furniture, home, and toys, Trusted Sellers is now expanding into health and beauty, gifting and electricals, with beauty brands such as Clarins, Dermalogica, and Medicube already available. Products are delivered directly by Trusted Sellers, although customers can still earn Nectar Points on marketplace purchases. The expansion forms part of a wider transformation programme at Argos that includes investment in its digital experience, rapid delivery, Argos Pay, and other customer propositions. Every partner is vetted by Argos before joining Trusted Sellers, ensuring that products meet the retailer’s quality and safety standards.

“The launch of Trusted Sellers enables us to complement those ranges with thousands of new lines from brands and independent businesses that mean our customers get an even wider range,” Graham Biggart said.

In July, Argos trialled the Trusted Sellers marketplace with 40 partners, offering over 70,000 products. The expansion comes after Sainsbury’s agreed to sell Argos to Swift Partners for £120 million in July, ending ten years of ownership since acquiring the brand for £1.4 billion in 2016. Graham Biggart said the feedback on and from Trusted Sellers has been incredibly positive.
