Lectra launches Apogy, an agentic AI platform for fashion product development.
On Wednesday, Paris-based Lectra introduced Apogy, a cloud-based agentic AI tool intended to support fashion teams from idea to industrial-ready prototype. The company says Apogy creates a shared environment that records every change and who made it while simplifying digital prototyping and approvals via 3D simulations and photorealistic renders.
Apogy allows multiple users to work on the same project at once, logging each edit and the user responsible.
“With Apogy, we are launching the first and only solution designed to bring together all involved parties, data and processes that shape a product. By breaking down silos and streamlining interactions across the entire ecosystem, we enable fashion companies to develop desirable, manufacturable products that meet consumer demand more quickly,” Maximilien Abadie, Lectra’s deputy CEO said.
“For the first time in our history, all our teams are using a single solution,” David Towell, senior manager at O’Neills said.
Lectra introduced its pattern‑making software Modaris in 1984 and, over the following four decades, built it into a global computer‑aided design standard. The company noted that an estimated one‑third of the world’s clothing has been designed using Lectra’s tools.
