Tulip cuts Shopify setup time to hours with new Integration Builder
Tulip this week released its Integration Builder and expanded its Shopify Connector, cutting the time to set up Shopify environments from days or weeks to hours. The Integration Builder provides a visual canvas and reusable components for bi‑directional data links, using AI‑assisted schema discovery and field mapping to adapt to retailers’ existing taxonomies.
The tool lets teams adjust connections as source‑system schemas evolve, reducing maintenance demands and disruption risk. The expanded Shopify Connector now supports multi‑region and Shopify Markets, enabling brands to link regional storefronts to a single Tulip environment while keeping product catalogs, pricing and languages intact. Following its March merger with Salesfloor, Tulip says it serves about 100 enterprise retail clients and over 100,000 sales associates in more than 70 countries. Tulip’s Global 2025 Clienteling Benchmark Report shows that personalized outreach drives 49% more purchases and 63% higher monthly spend per customer, with clienteling conversion rates averaging 11% and top performers reaching 37%.
“shouldn’t have to overhaul their data taxonomy or build custom middleware to give store associates actionable information. Standard connectors are too limited or rigid for enterprise environments, while bespoke engineering can take weeks or months,” Ian Rawlins, CEO of Tulip said.
“simply works with the data structures and connection methods retailers already use, applying visual configuration and AI-assisted tools to make integration faster and more manageable,” Ian Rawlins, CEO of Tulip said.
Before this release, Tulip’s standard connectors required customization or imposed rigid data structures, making integration costly and slow for enterprise retailers.
