Payoneer renews Etsy partnership through 2029 to serve sellers in 16 markets
Payoneer said it has renewed its partnership with Etsy through 2029, extending the collaboration that began in 2023. Under the three-year agreement, Payoneer will remain a strategic payments partner for Etsy sellers across 16 markets in Asia, Europe, South America and the Middle East, enabling tens of thousands of sellers to receive cross-border payouts. The financial terms of the renewed partnership were not disclosed by either company.
Payoneer noted that sellers in volatile markets rely on the partnership to access global customers and manage cross-border earnings. Maksym Gopanchuk, founder of Ukraine‑based KGUmusic and MG Leather Work, said roughly 80 percent of his sales come from the United States, with additional sales in Europe, the UK, Asia and Australia. Ya Wen, senior vice president of global marketplaces at Payoneer, said small businesses are increasingly selling across borders, currencies and markets, making financial infrastructure vital for their success.
“When local market conditions can change literally overnight, access to the global market and reliable international partners make it possible to keep moving forward. Etsy helps our brands reach customers across different countries, while Payoneer provides the payment infrastructure that makes our international sales possible,” Maksym Gopanchuk, founder of Ukraine‑based KGUmusic and MG Leather Work said.
“A reliable payments experience is essential to helping Etsy sellers across the globe grow and thrive,” Megan Oxman, senior director of product at Etsy said.
Payoneer and Etsy first partnered in 2023 to enable cross-border payouts for sellers. The original collaboration aimed to help sellers receive earnings across borders and grow globally.
