72 Street launches AI-powered investment platform for Gen Z investors
72 Street, founded in 2025 by Rohit Agarwal and Fal Ghancha, has secured ₹4 Cr in funding to build an AI-powered investment platform for Gen Z and first-time investors. The startup aims to tap India’s investment technology market, which exceeds $14 billion, by offering a platform that combines stock screening with human analyst oversight.
The platform consists of a mobile app and an AI researcher named V that provides analytical support.
Based in Mumbai, 72 Street says it wants to shorten the learning curve for new investors entering the capital markets.
The company has raised ₹4 crore from angel investors and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals to date.
Earlier in September, SEBI issued final observations on the IPO of lending tech startup Fibe, while Moneyview completed its stock market debut and Zerodha received approval to operate as a merchant banker. Meanwhile, Upstox launched US stock investing on its platform and the Global Fintech Fest showcased AI‑driven payment tools, even as the UPI MDR regime was notified to take effect from October 15.
