Boldfit raises ₹400 Cr from Bharat Value Fund for nationwide retail expansion

Boldfit has raised around ₹400 Cr from Bharat Value Fund in its Series B funding round. Following the round, Boldfit’s total funding to date exceeds ₹510 Cr.

The ₹400 Cr from Bharat Value Fund—a Category II AIF managed by The Wealth Company Alternates, part of Pantomath Group—will support nationwide retail expansion, product innovation, manufacturing excellence and selective acquisitions, while also bringing on board investors KL Rahul and Sania Mirza. Founded in 2018 by Pallav Bihani, Bengaluru‑based Boldfit sells performance sportswear, athletic footwear, sports equipment and fitness essentials to more than 20 million customers each year. India’s fitness and sports goods market is estimated at $16 billion and projected to reach $35 billion by FY31, driven by rising disposable incomes, growing health awareness, and wider access through e‑commerce, organised retail and quick commerce channels. Following the latest round, Boldfit’s total funding to date exceeds ₹510 Cr, up from the ₹110 Cr raised in its November 2024 Series B round from Bessemer Venture Partners.

“We’re building a deeply integrated sports business, investing in product innovation, manufacturing excellence and nationwide retail to create the scale and capabilities required to serve India’s sporting ambitions,” Pallav Bihani, Founder said.

The retail expansion follows plans set out after Boldfit’s ₹110 Cr Series B round from Bessemer Venture Partners in November 2024, which aimed to open offline stores within 12‑18 months. Earlier in 2025, sportswear startup Agilitas raised ₹225 Cr from Nexus Venture Partners and Rainmatter, while D2C athleisure brand CAVA secured a ₹40 Cr Series A led by Sharrp Ventures.
