Honasa Consumer shares jump over 8% after upbeat Q2 FY27 outlook
Honasa Consumer’s shares rose as much as 8.2% to ₹478.20 on the BSE in early trade after the company issued a strong business update for Q2 FY27. At 10:03 IST the stock was still 6.9% higher at ₹472.35, giving the firm a market capitalisation of roughly ₹15,368 crore.
Honasa forecast low‑thirties year‑on‑year net sales value growth for the quarter ended September 2026, with its flagship Mamaearth brand expected to deliver high‑teens growth and newer brands mid‑forties growth. The company also projects a low double‑digit operating margin, citing strong year‑on‑year improvement as it expands EBITDA margins. In the preceding quarter, consolidated net profit more than doubled to ₹90.5 crore from ₹41.3 crore, operating revenue rose 27% year‑on‑year to ₹755.9 crore and EBITDA more than doubled to ₹110 crore from ₹46 crore. It said its distribution network now exceeds three lakh FMCG retail outlets.
The update follows Honasa’s Project Neev, which began in late 2024 to overhaul offline distribution by removing the super‑stockist layer and strengthening direct retailer servicing, and stabilised during 2025. Alongside the distribution reset, Honasa narrowed Mamaearth’s focus to five core categories—face wash, shampoo, sunscreen, moisturiser and baby care—after earlier expansion diluted execution. The firm has been building a younger brand portfolio that includes The Derma Co, Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr Sheth’s, Staze, Lumineve and Reginald Men, and had proposed a ₹135 crore stake in nutraceuticals startup Fluence Pharma before calling off the deal in August.
