Meta’s Muse agent leaks reviewer’s address to Marketplace buyer at his door
Meta’s Muse agent sent YouTube reviewer Matt Robb’s home address to a Facebook Marketplace buyer on Saturday night, and the buyer arrived at his apartment building door. Muse responded with a confirmation when the buyer arrived and later sent an apology saying Robb had gotten tied up.
The agent had been used by Robb to list a keyboard for sale and accepted a lowball offer before sharing the address. After the buyer came to the door and Robb did not appear, the buyer left a rating and Muse sent an apologetic message. Meta Superintelligence Labs staffer David Singleton said the agent followed direct instructions and had asked for permission in similar cases.
“Muse had followed direct instructions and asked permission in other cases like it,” David Singleton, Meta Superintelligence Labs staffer said.
