Oxea chooses Uber Freight to run its global logistics network

Oxea selected Uber Freight to manage its global logistics network, according to a Sept. 15 press release, while Uber Freight’s AI platform draws on data from more than 20 million delivered shipments. The logistics network spans the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe, and Uber Freight will handle day-to-day transportation across truckload, rail, and ocean.

By anticipating disruptions earlier and coordinating regional and modal transportation, Uber Freight aims to improve on‑time performance and proactive communication for Oxea. Efficient routing from the integrated transportation management system can also help Oxea cut its carbon emissions. The TMS provides real‑time shipment visibility, access to Uber Freight’s public tracking portal and carrier performance dashboards. Uber Freight’s AI logistics platform supplies insight and data analysis from over 20 million shipments and answers industry‑specific questions in real time. Oxea’s Chief Supply Chain Officer Scott Farmer said the partnership lets the company stay focused on its core business while logistics expertise handles the network. The transportation management system can be integrated into Oxea’s enterprise resource planning system, enabling smooth data flow between logistics and core business processes.

“What matters is the impact: a clearer, earlier view of our global network, faster identification of potential disruptions, and more reliable, proactive information for customers,” Bret Bement, VP of supply chain management at Oxea said.

“We bring technology, data and logistics expertise together to run the operation, identify issues earlier and keep improving how the network performs,” D’Andrae Larry, Uber Freight Chief Commercial Officer said.
