Raspberry AI upgrades its platform with generative agents to cut sampling time by up to 60%

Raspberry AI today announced an upgrade to its platform that adds generative AI agents and can reduce sampling time by up to 60 percent. The company said 70 percent of its active customers now use the AI across more than three departments, up from 30 percent in April.

The upgrade enables the AI agents to assist with tasks ranging from initial design sketches to merchandising, wholesale, marketing and e‑commerce execution. Kate Spade’s Loop Small Flap Bag was created using the earlier version of the tool, which Lissette Siesholtz said saved her team about two weeks of sampling. Other brands listed as Raspberry AI clients include Skims, Alo and Walmart. The generative AI agents can now generate product descriptions, pricing suggestions and promotional copy alongside visual designs. Lissette Siesholtz noted that the earlier AI tool cut the need for physical samples, allowing the team to finalize the bag design faster. The upgrade means the AI agents can now work across design, merchandising, wholesale, marketing and e‑commerce, moving from concept to actual commerce.

“We used Raspberry AI to create our loop small flap shoulder bag—inputting sketch ideas, prompting, iterating, until we landed on exactly the right design. It saved our team about two weeks of sampling,” Lissette Siesholtz, senior director of technical design at Tapestry said.

“70 percent of the startup’s active customers now use its AI across more than three departments. In April, this number was just 30 percent,” Cheryl Liu, founder and CEO of Raspberry AI said.

Before the upgrade, Raspberry AI’s primary offering turned designer sketches into photorealistic renderings to show how fabrics would fit and drape in real life. The company said that feature could reduce a brand’s sampling time and costs by as much as 60 percent. This capability had already been adopted by labels such as Kate Spade, Skims, Alo and Walmart.
