Salesforce Trailblazer Community marks 20 years with 151M+ badges earned

Salesforce's Trailblazer Community celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, having earned over 151 million Trailhead badges. Alongside the badge milestone, members have earned 1.48 million certifications and participate in more than 700 local groups worldwide.

The community offers free learning through Trailhead, where users build skills and earn badges that translate into career‑ready expertise. To support the agentic era, Salesforce is providing Trailblazers with over 60 MCP tools, 30+ coding skills, 4,000+ APIs and 220+ CLI commands via the new AIforce badge program. Local groups and virtual events such as Community Workshops and AMAs continue to foster peer support and knowledge sharing. These resources aim to help businesses accelerate their journey to become Agentic Enterprises.

“Trailblazers have guided businesses through every wave of innovation for 20 years, and now they’re leading the way into the AI era. We’re grateful for this community, for how they show up, go first, and support an entire ecosystem of Trailblazers skilling up for what’s next. They’re not just part of the Salesforce story, they’re the heart of it,” Meredith Brown, SVP, Trailhead & Community said.

Twenty years ago, Salesforce launched the Trailblazer Community as SaaS was still in its infancy, bringing together administrators and developers to learn new skills and share best practices. The group has since grown into a global network that supports skill development, career growth and economic impact for businesses using Salesforce technology.
