Tabi Connect and Kleinschmidt partner to automate freight quoting
Tabi Connect and Kleinschmidt announced on Sept. 14 a partnership to automate freight quoting through Kleinschmidt’s Intelligence Network. The integration sends freight quote requests from Kleinschmidt’s network into Tabi, where a brokerage’s pricing rules are applied automatically before the quote returns to the shipper.
Tabi’s Pricing Logic Engine lets brokerages set rules based on customer, lane, equipment type and market conditions, and the system applies those rules to incoming requests instead of requiring manual rate determination. API connections return quotes in about three seconds, while RPA connections that automate shipper‑portal interactions typically return rates in 35 to 50 seconds. The platform is used by more than 100 logistics companies, including more than 20 of the Top 100 U.S. brokerages, and processes more than one million quotes each month. Capacity IQ analyzes more than 150,000 loads moving across North America each day to predict where trucks are likely to become available.
“Freight brokerage is more crowded than it’s ever been, and margins keep getting thinner, so speed and consistency are what actually separate the brokers who win from the ones who don’t,” Ricky Gonzalez, CEO of Tabi Connect said.
“Tabi helps brokers consistently apply their own pricing strategy to every opportunity,” Dan Heinen, president and CEO of Kleinschmidt said.
In May, Kleinschmidt acquired eBase Solutions to expand its integration capabilities, combining external B2B connectivity with eBase’s internal enterprise integration.
