A.F. Blakemore adds over 70 SPAR stores to Snappy Shopper rapid delivery

A.F. Blakemore expanded its partnership with Snappy Shopper by launching more than 70 additional SPAR stores on the rapid delivery platform in August and September. The rollout grew the retailer’s Snappy Shopper estate from 95 to 167 stores, with about 40 of the new locations in areas lacking any other Snappy Shopper retail partner.

Customers in the participating regions can order groceries, everyday essentials, snacks, drinks and household products from their local SPAR for rapid delivery via the SPAR Delivered service. Around 40 of the newly added stores are in markets where Snappy Shopper previously had no retail partner, expanding its geographic reach.

“This is a significant expansion of our partnership with A.F. Blakemore and a great opportunity to bring rapid delivery to even more SPAR customers. Adding around 70 stores considerably increases the scale of the existing partnership, while also taking Snappy Shopper into around 40 areas where we do not currently have a retail partner. That means more communities will be able to access convenient, rapid delivery from their local SPAR. We’re looking forward to supporting A.F. Blakemore throughout the roll-out and continuing to grow the partnership together,” Greg Deacon, VP Retail Groups at Snappy Shopper said.

Snappy Shopper appeared in Retail Technology Innovation Hub's inaugural Retail Technology Hot 100 List released in August. The list highlights companies whose technology is advancing the retail sector.
