Canada Goose opens third Australian store with new 2.0 Luxury Retail Concept
Canada Goose opened its third Australian store at Chatswood Chase, introducing a 254-square-metre retail space that adopts the brand’s 2.0 Luxury Retail Concept. The store sits on Level One of the shopping centre’s new luxury floor, which was completed as part of a $625 million redevelopment of Chatswood Chase. It will be the first in Australia to roll out the 2.0 Luxury Retail Concept, developed with Snøhetta, and will exclusively launch the Loma Half Zip and Loma Fleece Jacket for the local market.
The interior combines limestone flooring, terrazzo accents, and Australian timber fixtures, creating a neutral backdrop for the product displays. Feature walls titled ‘legacy walls’ show cartographic interpretations of the Canadian landscape, including a relief that depicts the country’s ridges and valleys. The store carries Canada Goose’s womenswear, menswear and kidswear lines, together with footwear and eyewear collections. Its assortment includes the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, overseen by creative director Haider Ackermann, plus a fleece range designed for Australia’s transitional weather. The opening marks Canada Goose’s continued expansion in the Australian market, bringing its total store count to three nationwide.
Canada Goose previously operated two stores in Australia before opening the Chatswood Chase location. The 2.0 Luxury Retail Concept had already debuted in Paris, Milan, Chicago and Vancouver prior to its Australian rollout.
