G-Star launches Wu-Tang collaboration and Tombogo denim line
G-Star announced a multi-year Wu-Tang Clan collaboration on Tuesday and simultaneously released the limited-edition Tombogo denim jean, which carries a price tag of $310. The first Wu-Tang collection will debut this month to coincide with the group’s performance at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, before a global rollout scheduled for November ahead of their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The Tombogo jean, dubbed The Denim 004 Tombogo, employs a paneled construction with strap-and-buckle elements, concealed pockets beneath outer layers and gunmetal hardware throughout, drawing inspiration from harness boots with buckle straps. Additional drops, including women’s capsules, are planned for release in 2027, while the Tombogo jean is already available for purchase at the $310 price point. Wu-Tang Clan members previously teased the partnership by wearing a limited-edition tour jacket, sourced and embroidered in the Netherlands, onstage in Amsterdam earlier this year.
“Wu-Tang built a world out of nothing but skill, code and imagination—that’s the same discipline behind every pair of jeans we make. Atlanta feels like the right place to introduce that to the people,” Rob Schilder, G-Star CEO said.
“We’re excited to continue The Denim series with Tombogo, a designer who approaches fashion through innovation and purpose. Tommy’s ability to translate complex ideas into wearable design aligns naturally with G-Star’s focus on craftsmanship and experimentation,” Gwenda van Vliet, G-Star chief brand officer said.
The Denim series serves as G-Star’s platform for emerging designers to experiment with denim beyond traditional conventions. Previous editions have featured designers such as Jacques Agbobly, KNWLS and Ottolinger, each bringing distinct perspectives to the fabri
