Hai Robotics seeks Hong Kong listing after 2025 revenue tops RMB2.02 billion
Hai Robotics refreshed its Hong Kong listing application on September 13, aiming to build on 2025 revenue of RMB2.02 billion. Sales outside mainland China made up more than half of its revenue in the first half of 2026.
Founded in 2016, the Shenzhen‑based firm makes robots that retrieve individual containers from warehouse racks and bring them to workstations, allowing aisles to narrow and workers to stay at picking stations. Its newer machines climb the racks themselves, turning height into storage capacity without requiring workers to follow inventory upward. Goldman Sachs and CITIC Securities are joint sponsors of the listing, and research for the filing ranked Hai as the world’s largest provider of autonomous case‑handling robot solutions by revenue and shipments in 2025. The company says turning successful warehouse projects into a profitable global business is its next challenge.
Warehouse automation has long relied on conveyors, cranes and automated storage systems, with more recent mobile robots moving shelves or containers across floors. Hai Robotics focused on the individual case, introducing a single‑case robot system in 2017 and a multi‑case version in 2018. Its goods‑to‑person approach sends inventory to workers instead of requiring them to travel to inventory.
