Jysk launches Enactor unified commerce platform across 110 Norwegian stores

Jysk has activated its Enactor-powered unified commerce platform in all 110 of its Norwegian stores after a multi-month rollout. Sweden and Finland went live on the platform a few weeks prior, while the Netherlands and Belgium are slated for deployment next.

The platform integrates store systems into a single system, enabling multiple points of sale so staff can assist shoppers and process payments anywhere in the store. Connie Evensen, store manager at the Jysk Furuset location in Oslo, said the new setup lets colleagues help customers and take payments wherever they are, and that her team quickly adopted the workflow. The rollout involved migrating each store’s legacy systems onto the Enactor platform, standardizing inventory, sales, and customer data across the chain. Jysk plans to use the unified commerce foundation to expand omnichannel services such as click‑and‑collect and endless aisle in the Benelux markets.

“We now have several points of sale throughout the store, which means we can help customers and process payments wherever they are. My team has done an amazing job, and they really love the new way of working. It has been great to see how quickly it has become a natural part of our daily routines,” Connie Evensen, Store Manager at Jysk Furuset in Oslo said.

Prior to the Norway rollout, Jysk had already deployed the Enactor-powered platform in Sweden and Finland a few weeks earlier. The company has indicated that the Netherlands and Belgium are the next markets slated for implementation. This sequential rollout reflects a phased approach to unified commerce adoption across the Nordics and Benelux.
