KnitWell Group names Angelica Munson chief digital and customer data officer
KnitWell Group appointed Angelica Munson as its chief digital and customer data officer on September 22, according to a press release. In the newly created role, Munson will oversee customer data, insights, AI-assisted marketing tools, personalization and digital marketing for the company’s enterprise strategy.
Munson previously served as global chief digital officer at Shiseido Group, where she led the launch of the Beauty Tech Lab that offered AI-based skin diagnostics.
“Angelica is a highly respected digital and transformation leader whose experience sits at the intersection of customer insight, technology, marketing, and commerce,” Lizanne Kindler said.
KnitWell Group was created three years ago when Ann Taylor, Loft and Talbots were combined under a single holding company. Sycamore Partners acquired the Ascena brands Ann Taylor, Loft, Lane Bryant and Lou & Grey in the bankruptcy process and later purchased Chico’s FAS for $1 billion in 2024, adding White House Black Market and Soma to the group.
