M&S debuts at London Fashion Week with 57-look shoppable collection

M&S is set to make its London Fashion Week debut with a 57-look shoppable collection. Half of the collection will be priced under £50, targeting mass-market shoppers.

The catwalk show will feature 57 menswear and womenswear looks drawn from M&S’s archive to mark 100 years in fashion. Highlights include a tan leather borg jacket inspired by the heritage St Michael label and a black tuxedo with white shirt echoing the looks worn by supermodel Christy Turlington for M&S in the 1990s. The looks will be shoppable immediately online and in 10 UK and Ireland flagship stores, and the show will be streamed on the M&S website and through European partner Zalando. The archive‑inspired pieces range from classic tailoring to modern outerwear, reflecting M&S’s century‑long design heritage.

“This is a collection built on our heritage but brought bang up to date,” Stuart Machin, Chief Executive said.

Under chief executive Stuart Machin, who took the top job in 2022, M&S has been overhauling its clothing proposition to shed its reputation for appealing mainly to older shoppers. The retailer has already revived its fashion business with trend-led ranges and collaborations, while recovering from a major cyber attack that cut annual profit by 24% in 2025/26. M&S is also aiming to double online sales in its fashion, home and beauty division from around £1.4bn in 2024/25 and raise digital’s share to 50% of those sales.
