Tractor Supply opens 865,000-square-foot distribution center in Nampa, Idaho
Tractor Supply announced the opening of a distribution center in Nampa, Idaho on September 23, 2026, marking its 11th such facility. The 865,000-square-foot center will bring 500 full-time jobs to the region and initially serve 123 stores across nine states.
The facility includes 80 truck docks optimized for inbound and outbound traffic flow and sits on extra acreage reserved for future expansion. Designed to eventually support more than 200 stores, it is the first in Tractor Supply’s network to use OSR/ASRS automated storage and retrieval technology. All team leaders have received AI fundamentals training and the site hosts a dedicated AI Innovation Team to apply practical artificial intelligence to operations. The building meets LEED Silver standards, scoring between 50 and 69 points out of a possible 110 for energy and environmental performance.
“Our distribution centers play a critical role in supporting our team members, stores and customers,” Craig Ledbetter, chief supply chain officer said.
“a major economic milestone,” Darl Bruner, Nampa’s mayor said.
As of June 27, 2026, Tractor Supply operated 2,463 stores across 49 states and 209 Petsense by Tractor Supply locations in 23 states. The retailer noted that last-mile deliveries from its stores in the first half of 2026 matched the total for all of 2025, indicating rapid scaling of its Final Mile delivery program.
