Google builds a single AI Max report linking search terms, ads and landing pages
Google is developing a unified AI Max report for Search campaigns that shows, for each ad interaction, the search term that triggered the ad, the creative assets displayed, and the landing page visited. At the same time, Google is opening its AI Brief closed-beta tool to advertisers in seven additional languages: Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Advertisers currently must manually combine the search term, creative asset, and landing-page views to assess performance. Google says the combined report will let advertisers see what AI Max adds to their results. Google has not announced a launch date for the report and notes that further details on availability will be shared later this year. AI Brief remains in closed beta and allows advertisers to describe their business, audience and messaging in plain text to give AI Max more input.
What we know
Google is building a single AI Max report for Search campaigns that shows, for each ad interaction, which search term triggered the ad, which creative assets the person saw, and which page on the advertiser’s site they reached.
Advertisers today have to piece those three views together on their own.
Google is pitching the combined report as a way for them to see what AI Max adds to their results.
Google hasn’t given a launch date though, and says details on availability will come later this year.
AI Brief, the closed-beta feature that lets advertisers describe their business, audience and messaging in plain text so AI Max has more to work with, is also expanding to Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.
