Gorgias launches Gaia AI coaching engine to boost autonomous ticket resolution
Gorgias introduced Gaia, an AI coaching engine designed to increase the proportion of tickets resolved by its AI Agent without human intervention. Gaia audits a merchant’s knowledge base, flags duplicate content, identifies gaps, and produces a ready‑to‑publish draft in minutes.
The tool works alongside Gorgias’ AI Agent, which autonomously handles shopping‑assistant and support‑agent conversations. Unlike traditional agent‑assist copilots that only speed up human replies, Gaia aims to shrink the ticket queue by improving the AI Agent’s resolution rate over time.
“Gaia completely transformed how we manage our knowledge base,” Nicole Parker, Senior Manager of Customer Service at Bare Necessities and PJ Salvage said.
The article notes that AI copilots, also called agent assist, help humans draft replies and summarize threads but still require a person to send each message. Because the copilot never resolves tickets on its own, the handle time per ticket drops but the overall queue size remains unchanged unless automation improves.
What we know
Intercom Copilot costs $29 per agent/month billed annually or $35 monthly.
Zendesk Copilot pricing: Suite Professional is $115 per agent/month.
Gaia transformed knowledge base management by auditing content, flagging duplicates, identifying gaps, and generating a draft within minutes.
Improving human agent speed yields only linear time savings per ticket.
