Kiehl’s opens 1,300‑sq‑ft experiential flagship on London’s Carnaby Street
Kiehl’s has opened a 1,300‑sq‑ft experiential flagship on London’s Carnaby Street. The two‑storey unit marks Kiehl’s second standalone store in the West End and the first content studio the brand has launched in Europe.
The flagship features skin‑analysis technology, a photo booth and custom screen‑printing stations on the ground floor. An interactive Brew Bar matches skincare ingredients to customers’ moods and skin concerns, while Derma Readers provide personalised skin analysis. The entire upper floor is devoted to a content studio for creators, filming and community events, which Kiehl’s said is a first for the brand in Europe. Kiehl’s operates 18 boutiques across the UK, where Britain ranks among its three largest markets, and its Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is the UK’s best‑selling prestige eye cream according to L’Oréal.
“want to spend time in,” Niki Lo, UK general manager said.
“meaningful investment in the future of physical retail,” Melanie Vidal, global brand president said.
Kiehl’s is approaching its 175th anniversary and has been investing in standalone stores to boost customer acquisition, loyalty and brand engagement. It currently operates 18 boutiques in the UK, where Britain is one of the brand’s three largest markets.
