meCore launches AI platform with 300k-product catalog for personalized style

meCore recently launched an AI-powered fashion platform that offers a catalog of over 300,000 products to deliver personalized style profiles. Abdollahian launched meCore with the idea that AI should support human individuality, not just group people into predictable categories, embodying the mission to “refuse to be beige.”

Users can build evolving aesthetic profiles, dubbed “Cores,” that shift as their tastes, moods and inspirations change. The service draws on an AI engine and a library of more than 300,000 items from stores including Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Anthropologie to surface pieces from labels such as Khaite, Veronica Beard, Zimmermann and Rag & Bone. Shoppers can upload any image or photo to receive wardrobe suggestions that match their personal style.

“The idea for meCore came from a gap I kept seeing as AI became increasingly capable but still fell short of truly understanding who we are and what we want at any given moment,” Golnaz Abdollahian, founder of meCore said.

As consumers become weary of one‑size‑fits‑all product suggestions, meCore offers a more considered method of discovery through its personalized “Cores” profiles. Those profiles are designed to update continuously in line with each individual’s evolving preferences and inspirations.

What we know

  • Using advanced AI and a catalog of over 300,000 products from top retailers such as Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Anthropologie, meCore helps shoppers find luxury and contemporary brands like Khaite, Veronica Beard, Zimmermann and Rag & Bone that match their unique style.

  • The platform was created by Dr. Golnaz Abdollahian, a tech industry expert with a Ph.D. from Purdue University and seven years of experience developing new technologies at Apple, plus leadership roles at Microsoft, Sony and Dolby.

  • This belief is at the heart of the platform’s mission to “refuse to be beige.”
