THG Fulfil widens AutoStore deal to sell CapEx and RaaS systems

On 30 September 2026, THG Fulfil expanded its global distribution partnership with AutoStore to offer both CapEx ownership and RaaS models, operating 796 AutoStore robots across its own fulfilment network. The integrated system moves over 11,000 bins to picking stations each hour and cuts average pick wait times by 78%.

For Footasylum, THG Fulfil deployed 85 AutoStore R5 robots across more than 96,000 bin locations, housing the retailer’s full live SKU range. Under the expanded agreement, THG Fulfil gains global distribution rights for the complete AutoStore product range when sold as CapEx, while its RaaS offering is limited to R5 Pro, R5 Pro+ robots, CarouselPort, ConveyorPort and VersaPort. The company’s proprietary warehouse control software integrates with AutoStore to enable the high‑throughput picking performance.

“Automation should never force brands to choose between control and cash flow. Our AutoStore distribution offering was originally built around a RaaS model because, for many of our clients, protecting capital while scaling automation was the right call,” Tom Killeen, COO at THG Ingenuity said.

“Giving customers greater flexibility in how they invest in automation helps them scale in a way that fits their business. By expanding our partnership with THG Fulfil to include both CapEx and RaaS models, we can support more businesses in choosing the commercial approach that best fits their operational and financial priorities,” Russell Holmes, Sales Director UK & I, AutoStore said.

Previously, THG Fulfil’s distribution agreement with AutoStore was limited to a robotics‑as‑a‑service (RaaS) model only. The expansion adds traditional CapEx ownership to the portfolio.
